People evolved eating X. Therefore, eating Y is bad for you.

Variant of “appeal to nature” fallacy.

Y may be bad for you, but it’s not a foregone conclusion.
  1. Just because something is non-optimal doesn’t make it pessimal.

Speaking of Health Food, your body burns more calories digesting a stalk of celery than the stalk of celery contains. Therefore, you are starving yourself if you eat it.

Which is how I feel about most vegetables.

Is it like the people who say certain things are bad because they contain chemicals. Everything is a chemical! Just because you call it "salt" and not "Sodium chloride" and buy it from the local grocery store does not not make it a chemical.
