The scary thing is I went to my first gay bar about five days after you did here in LA...and I was worried about the same thing (but I went with a friend which REALLY helped). Well, we don't do the two-step here and there was no dancing in general, but I had similar (mostly unfounded) fears. So congrats! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to go back. I think I'm still to chicken to go alone...

Well, last weekend I went to Austin and realised with surprise that there was a particularly gay thing going on.

To cut a long story short (I will elaborate later) I ended up at a nude beach for the first time ever.. Now *that* took courage ^^;;
