Steps toward a microchipped population

When David Icke started baffling about there being an agendo on having everybody microchipped, nobody gave him much importance. After all he is the one that claimed that he was Jesus, and that the Queen of England was actually a lizard.

Yet the stones toward that are slowly being set up in place. In particular:

Speaking just for situation in the Uk, the progression is something like this.

1] ID cards have already been introduced initally for asylem seekers and immigrants.
2] ID cards are to be introduced for ordinary citizens on voluntary basis. sometime in 2005-8
    3] ID becomes compulsary, 2010 to 2012
4] Cards issued with built in microchip that can be tracked using mobile phone network.
5] Microchips will be implanted, making cards redundent.

It's a slow and steady progression, small incrimental steps so people don't object. With certain target groups implanted first so that people see that these things are "vital and necessary". Groups like new-born babies, so that they can't be snatched. Elderly care patents, so they can't wander away. criminals...

    You get the idea.

And the thing is, this isn't some wild and hairy conspiracy theory from the tinfoil hat brigade. This is from actual government sources...

In Italy we had ID card for anybody above 16 from before I was born. I don't see as such a big thing. An ID card can be faked, changes, lost. Having it does not mean you are tracked where you are. Even if all the people who fought against Fascism had ID card this would not have change the fact that they could and did fight. A microchip might make things seriously different.
