Mr. Beard is 89 years old. He is a tiny man, stooped and frail. His good suit hangs from his bony shoulders and waves like a flag. Patches of innocent brown skin shine through his frizzy white hair. Mr. Beard loves Jesus, and isn't afraid to tell anyone he talks to so.

Nnow I absolutely loved this entry. I agree with you, he certainly overcame some very difficult hurdles and came through to the top and reached it, and should raise and shout to the Lord!

Old Rugged Cross is one of my favorite hymns! I really liked this. It was short but I feel like you captured a wonderful description of this man.
