Nothing will capture your attention in a veterinary clinic like that urgent cry.

Milo had decided that today was not a good day to get a shot.

This scared me because I had to go through something similar not that long ago! Except it was at a gas station surrounded by highways on either side (including an interstate - I-44 since I thought you might know it being from St. Louis). I finally got her to walk back to the car and climb in after 45 minutes of screaming and panicking!

It's definitely a lot more fun from the dog's perspective, though I'm glad people were willing to have fun with him before he actually got out.

Dogs definitely think that being chased is a Fun New Game! -- infuriating for owners or vet personnel or whatever, but the dog is all "wheeeeee!", lol. You captured it very well. :)
