Today's lunch of Pad Thai is a lie. It's just noodles that taste sort of sour. And not anything like Pad Thai.

I felt that Lady Gaga's performance at the Grammys provoked a lukewarm reaction from the audience (especially compared to the thunderous applause Elton John got when he appeared in her set).  I wonder if it's because she's still vaguely new

Also apropos of nothing, I REALLY WANT TO GET TOGETHER WITH YOU GUYS! I would love to go out there and see the old neighborhood, but sadly, it's really hard to do long car trips with kids. Are you guys coming out to this area anytime soon such that you'd have time to drop by for dinner or anything? I'll cook for you!

Failing that, I could probably visit you guys if I find a way to make a really good little-kid day of it for the girls... maybe I could take them to the Eric Carle Picture Book Museum or something while I'm out there. Assuming you wouldn't mind me + kids descending on your house, that is.

But anyway, yes, I've missed you guys all these years and would LOVE to get together if you're up for it!

Hi! We'd love to see you, too! I certainly don't mind a visit from a gaggle (if 2 can be called a gaggle) of little girls, but it might be more fun for them if you visit in nicer weather, as we have both the Eric Carle museum and the wonderful Look Park with fun kid stuff to do. So maybe we should visit you in the bleaker months and you can come and visit when it's nicer out. http://www.lookpark.org/index.php?id=3

Good point -- the Northampton area is extra awesome in nice weather, no matter how you cut it. I really miss all the farm stands and good hiking, and Look Park is indeed a great place to take the kids!

You are VERY welcome here -- and you're welcome to bring the dog, too! Freya would love a visitor. :) Should it ever prove relevant, by the end of the month we should even have a guest room you'd be welcome to use should you ever need crash space while staging eastern Mass/Providence area activities some weekend, and before then we have a pull out couch.

I'm not really free til later in the month myself, so that sounds good. By all means, email me and let me know whenever you guys might be up for something!

my opinion of the lady gaga thing is that people are still trying to figure her out - they're not sure yet if she insanely crazy, or intensely brilliant, and I think some are waiting for popular opinion to emerge, so they're afraid to weigh in lol
