and one more thing to get off my chest. I hated Ringworld. I just finished it and found myself just kinda glazed over for a good chunk of it. Like seriously. I mean it

Wheel of Time is crazy good, but make sure you have enough time to read through it all. The plot is awesomely rich, and there's lots of interesting characters. The original author died before completing the last two books, but I hear the person who wrote the last two for him was pretty good. I keep meaning to get the last two, but that means I'll need to re-read the previous 10 books again to get up to speed. xD

The Wheel of Time series is rather well-written and interesting, at least for the first half-dozen books. I never got further than that, it started to feel like it wasn't really going anywhere, and the large number of characters and things go on, it felt like it took forever between you getting to hear from the characters that you actually cared about, and there wasn't much advancement of plot per book. That's how it worked for me, at least. It's been a decade since I last picked them up, but obviously a lot of people disagree.

"and there wasn't much advancement of plot per book"

That was my main problem with it. That and I disliked most of the female characters.

It'll either drive you crazy or you'll love it. Or both.

Sandersan is doing a good job with the final books, IMO.
