oh so I take Buddhist classes and other ramblings

So much has happened since I last updated, and while I doubt anyone even reads this anymore, I felt like I needed to get some stuff out since I really don't have a lot of places to talk that is somewhat "hidden" (can you even imagine when livejournal was at its height that it would be this empty now

the Buddhist classes sound interesting. Maybe inquire with the nuns to see if they have any more advanced classes?

Hey there! :D glad to see some faces still around ;D

The nuns that come down come down from the big temple outside of LA, our little class is taught by a few of the english long term Buddhists from the temple, so its one of those things that you kinda have to take what you can get with a free hour long class ;D

I feel like knowing that I'm bringing about my own suffering would be the most depressing thought in the world, if I didn't know how to fix it! It's an interesting way of looking at things, though.

There have been a few classes that have been super heavy and you walk out like "whoa!" I've stopped and talked to the normal teachers but even then its pretty quick. I just wish that there was a good easy to start at book they could recommend, but even then they don't agree LOL

Nope I sold tea and stuff that made tea :D since moving down here I haven't been doing it, but its not for lack of trying, but for lack of companies that are here (that aren't Teavana which I am not to keen on right now after being with them for three years)

I never imagined Livejournal would be this empty, but all things come to an end. I never did this for the people anyway. I just needed a journal I could write in regularly.

Yeah its kinda strange with how busy it use to be I would feel almost overwhelmed at times. I need to get back into doing things for me and glad to see you are still around
