Do you really think Ringo made that much of a difference? I realise that Pete wasn't exactly conforming to their image, but the drummer is stuck up the back and apart from session recordings nobody can really hear anyway. :p

I can only assume you are trying to make me angry so I will not take the bait. no, I will. Pete Best was a BAD DRUMMER, there are recordings to prove this. Ringo is fucking awesome.

I know he wasn't good, you can hear it on some of the tracks on anthology. But most people don't really sit there and listen to the drums, is what I was saying. I wasn't trying to mortally wound you. :p
