People say they like Sarah Palin because she's the kind of person they could have a beer with.

Naturally, liberals criticize this.

But part of the reason I like Barack Obama is because he's the kind of person that I could have a beer with.

I'm not sure exactly why, but I think I'd be more likely to trust the kind of person you could have beer with than the kind of person most people could have a beer with.
