I found a cool blog called Hi, I'm Black.

Then I found a link on it.

And this, which I'll have to see at some point.

I thought it was really funny, and thought provoking too, because many parts made me think about my own racial prejudices. For instance, I realized that sometimes I do think some of the cliched things that are mentioned on the site--the "articulate" thing is a perfect example, an accusation of which I am utterly guilty ( ... )

Just for the record, I never told anyone that I was definitely coming to Columbus for the July 4th weekend.

As it turns out, I probably won't be able to come, as grad school is turning out to be a lot of work and it's hard to get to columbus as I have no car, but we'll see. If you need an answer right now, it's an unfortunate "no", although there's a slim chance that I might come in at the last minute.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Liz said you might be coming to Columbus this weekend, as in tomorrow. She said you IM'd her and said that you might be in town. I wasn't asking about the 4th of July, I was asking about this weekend...

Ohh, okay--sorry about that misunderstanding. :) Yeah, I was thinking about it, since my roommate was driving down, but I decided I shouldn't. I'm not sure exactly when the next time I can come down to Columbus is, but I'd like to make it soon; I'll definitely let y'all know when that happens.
