I slept in my living room last night.  The couch in there is a loveseat hide-a-bed, but at midnight:30, you're too tired to open the thing up.  But, Swan, you may be asking yourself?  You have a perfectly good bed.  In a room with a ceiling fan.  Why were you in your living room ( Read more... )

What makes it worse is that when I got back home from vacation, he'd said to me that we'd have to "compromise" about the A/C since he'd done some work upstairs while I was gone and had realized it was noticeably warmer up there than downstairs.

He has a convenient memory.

He switched the fan from "auto" to "on."

I agree. If you're living there, he has to make it comfortable for you to actually, you know, LIVE there.

Have you thought about threatening him that you're going to have to put in a separate window unit upstairs?

He "volunteered" to leave the A/C fan in the On position, rather than Auto. That way, the fan would run and the air would circulate.

I could sleep in my bed last night.
