Spy AU please!

David as the spy and Leo as the clueless civilian he has to protect or the other way around, I don't care. I just want some action and banter and stuff :D

anon-author here! so glad you like it as I have no idea what spies do apart from run around with guns, save girls in bikinis and blow things up. None of which David did in this fic haha.

(also, I had no idea Chuck was about spies, think I'll have to check it out)

thank you!

Well I mean, this is your universe and you can do whatever you want with it and obviously I (and maybe some other people) would love to have a follow-up but if you don't do it your story is still pretty damn perfect ♥

Thanks again! :D

David is surprised at how easy it is to find Leo. He only has to ask a few questions, hack into two databases, before he locates his address. Leo’s kept his side of the bargain, David had looked over the trial details and saw Leo’s name on the witness list. The trial doesn’t even begin for another six months, plenty of time for Leo to back out-to change his mind, but David doesn’t care, not for now at least ( ... )

“I’ve been looking forward to seeing you again,” he says eventually, and it does feel strange, because he’s still not entirely sure what there is to like about Leo. “When I’m protecting someone, I won’t get close to them because that just gets in the way, I can’t have emotions interfering, I won’t be able to do my job. You may think I was being an asshole, but it was for your own good.”

“But I don’t need protecting anymore,” Leo says, and he’s closer now, his hand on David’s shoulder, he can feel it, even beneath his suit jacket. David bends his head down, presses his lips to Leo’s fingers. He thinks it’s time, time someone makes a move. He sees Leo’s lips twitch slightly and he brushes his thumb across David’s lips before removing his hand completely.

“No, you don’t,” David agrees. “But I haven’t been close to anyone in a really long time. I don’t think I even remember how.”

“That’s pretty fucked up,” Leo muses and David still hates that word, and he wants to tell Leo this, but he’s so tired, he doesn’t want to argue. “But I’m ( ... )

He takes this as his chance, is finally able to grab the back of Leo’s neck, and kiss him. It’s painful, Leo bites down deliberately hard, managing to reach between them and slip his hand back inside David’s pants ( ... )

David scrambles up so he’s sitting up against the headboard and flicks on the bedside light; because he wants to be able to see Leo, see his every movement. Leo laughs softly, waits for David to settle before approaching him ( ... )

David laughs, but he can see the faint marks his fingers have left on Leo’s neck, he hadn’t realised he’d squeezed so hard. “Considering I haven’t had any sleep in thirty-six hours and that we’ve never done it together before, I think it went pretty well ( ... )

Oh my God! You wrote a sequel! =) And it's just so freakishly good. Genius!
I loved everything about it.
Cocky Leo is just brilliant and the way he and David interact... Men,absolutely typical, both pretending that they don't care.
My favourite line: "I’m not going to fall in love with you, so don’t even think about doing the same.” So far in denial that it's actually adorable.
I am addicted to your characters. Addicted, you hear me? And I know this already is the sequel, but I just keep wanting more because David as the icy spy and Leo as the "I don't give a fuck"-protegé are just too good!
Thank you so much for sharing!

sorry for the late response- lj is being one crazy bitch.

(and maybepossibly, I'm writing one final piece to turn this into a trilogy, because I can't let go of David the Spy lmao, if that's cool with you?)

thanks!

I can totally understand how you can't let go of him. =) Spy-Villa is absolute GOLD!
And I am basically jumping up and down on my chair because a third part to this would be AMAZING! So excited.
