I have begun a small side-blog.

It's about sandwiches, because who doesn't love sandwiches?

A few weeks ago a group of friends and I emailed back and forth for several hours about different sandwiches we had loved and eaten, and I got to thinking. I decided to start collecting a list of these different sandwiches, in order to inspire the creation ( Read more... )

Molly here is a sambwich I like:

BLT with Avocado and NO MAYO, because mayonnaise is icky!

I actually like my sandwiches cheap and home-made, so I can put what I like in them, and eat them voraciously, muppet-style, in the privacy of my home.

Also, here is a sandwich I invented when I worked at the Red Hook IGA:

Boar's Head Salsalito Turkey, Boar's Head Pepper Turkey, pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and italian dressing. I had people I didn't even KNOW coming in asking for it!
