Nagatomo removed his face from the bowl of fettucine. “Hai, coach?”
“Ano... I know that in Japan, you have to slurp udon loudly to show appreciation of the host’s cookery. But that is not necessary with pasta.”
*SLURP* *CHOMP* *DROOL*
“Really?” said Nagatomo in surprise. “But Lucio-san does!”
Leonardo looked at Lucio, the only other occupant of this end of the table, who had his head shoved into a bowl of bones and farfalle. “Yes, well, he’s a dog. It’s complicated.”
The rest of the team watched in disgust and fear.
