Today would've been my mum & dad's golden wedding anniversary. I suppose it's a bit odd to commemorate it, but I wanted to. So I have :)

I used to have a photo of Cwm Mynach as my Windows Desktop picture.

I have only been there a couple of times because it is rather out of the way and on the other side of the estuary, so beyond walking distance from my house. It is a lovely spot and will be even nicer if they can replace the conifers with native woodland.

It's a wonderful place. Even though old trees and moss-covered rocks are very photogenic anyway, those pics do capture the magic of it.

Thank you! It was my mum's favourite from their album, though she complained that "The photographer should have done something about the uneven hemline on my dress...."

No idea what she thought he could have done!

As a kid I used to spend hours looking through their wedding album. I still love old photos, especially weddings.
