Starting as it means to go on?

I just went to close the curtains and it's snowed again - everything is white!

It had only just thawed the last lot. White Christmas and now a white New Year.

Whatever next?

snow!, new year

I agree. I like snow - it's pretty and it always makes me smile. Even when I'm out in it - just skidding our way down to m-i-l's on Christmas Day was good.

A cup of cocoa (or tea), a really good book, and a blanket to warm your lap while you curl up and read. Now you have my recipe for dealing with sudden snow. *g*

Ooh, yes - a woman after my own heart! Add a mince pie or two to that recipe and you have my idea of heaven.....

ooo, mince pie! My grandmother used to make those for holidays, just for the two of us. I haven't had mince pie in years and years.

Oh, no! That's not right! Christmas just doesn't work without home-made mince pies.

My m-i-l makes the best mince pies ever. They're mini heart-attack bombs, it's true, but they're worth the risk *g*

Snow is fine if you don't have to get to work -- which I don't! :)

Hhowever, we have no snow, just a dusting of frost.

Hope you have a good year.

Oh, I agree that Ialso have the luxury of being able to enjoy the snow! Going to the bus stop in office togs and waiting for the bus in it wasn't much fun. Deciding to go out in it, suitably dressed, is fabulous!

And thank you very much for all your good wishes :)
