Where did the time go?

It's cold, wet and windy here - it must be Bank Holiday weekend.  I hope it's a bit more spring-like with you folks.

I've just been sitting here for a while (quite a while, actually) going  through my friends page.

And I've realised just how long it is since I did a proper visit in here, let alone a proper post and how out of touch I am with ( Read more... )

I'd be more than happy to read about dog rescue. That's a wonderful thing to be involved in.

You may live to regret that, Kari ;) I'm trying not to spam LJ as much as I am my Facebook page. I don't mind spamming that - I'm still not keen on FB.

Actually, your comment has just prompted me to find you on Facebook - the friend request from the woman with only half a head is from me!

If you don't want to go into FB, though, I'll post links to my Lurcher Link blog shortly :)

I don't read FB as regularly as LJ but I'd love to read it here or there, and I suspect I'm not alone.

Oh, that's lovely - thank you so much!

Thanks for accepting my add, btw. Like you, I tend not to go on FB much but I feel that I ought to. It's certainly a good way of getting quite a few of the people I know together in one place :)

Do you have another blog where you talk about dog rescue? I'd be interested to read it if you do.

I have two. *is embarrassed*

Are you on Facebook? If you are I can friend you and you'll get notifications as I update. I will be posting links direct to the blogs shortly, though, if you'd rather look at it that way :)

I am on Facebook, but really don't use it. But I've found your blogs now and created a feed to one (so I can read it on my LJ friendslist) and put the other into Favourites.

I hope the plan to get another dog progresses smoothly. After my failed attempt to acquire a dog last year, I think I might actually revert to Plan A. Getting a dog was actually a Plan B that I thought up when Plan A didn't seem feasible, but it's just possible that Plan A would be doable after all.

Apologies for being cryptic, but I have no time to do anything about anything until these assignments are done and I don't want to get all excited and do posts about something that isn't going to happen.

I understand entirely. That's something I'm always wary of, especially when there are other things that will impact on my plan.

And thank you so much for linking to both blogs - that's more than I dared to hope for!

Re Facebook, as I said, I don't really go there much, but I do use it as an alternate means of keeping in touch with people in case anything happened to LJ. If you want to add me there, I'm Helen Hall and I use the same icon as for this post. I'll add you back.

Great stuff - thank you! I'm not a fan of Facebook to be honest, but it is a good way of keeping LJ friends, Wonderlands friends and Lurcher Link friends contactable from just one spot. In theory ;)
