On the one hand I'd take anything from LiveStrong.com with a grain of salt, but on the other hand I don't think it's particularly controversial to say that fresh fruits and vegetables have health benefits. I wonder if you could find pickled watermelon rinds at Food City or El Super.

I haven't been to Food City in ages. I used to go there for cheap produce quite a bit. If you don't mind more blemishes on your produce than you get elsewhere, it's not bad.

I've never been to El Super, but they're kind of out of the way for me.
