Don't most people work on their rusty Spanish by watching telenovelas? Failing that, I'm sure you could find Spanish-language YouTube videos on subjects that were interesting to you.

So far my method of studying Spanish has been watching Jessica Jones with the Spanish subtitles on. It's not very effective, though. Ha ha!

I downloaded it earlier this week and mostly like it. It has a lot of audio-based learning, which is great for improving listening skills (probably my weakest area), but it also means that you are limited in where you can use it. I can't, say, take a quick break at my desk to do a few lessons, because I'll distract people around me.

Assuming it doesn't already have this feature and I just haven't discovered it, I wish it had a quiet mode that you could use in offices, libraries, and places like that; it would just skip the audio lessons in that setting. Otherwise you have to remember to pack ear buds.
