Gimp hates me. I can't get it to run at all... Am I *really* going to have to go into my Windows partition to edit images? Really? REALLY? Oh well. It kind of sucks to have been on Windows for so long and really get good with it (though I hated it) and then to switch over to a more stable OS and be slightly at a loss. In the past year:

Aunt commits suicide
Kicked out of house
Gain 30 lbs
Diagnosed with bipolar
Learn I can't really pay for college
Lose two jobs due to breakdowns and stress
Family becomes homeless
Place where family's stuff is kept gets broken into
Everything is destroyed
