"What is that?" I asked, suspicion creeping into my tone.
Emmett shrugged, feigning innocence. "Just something I picked up for you. Open it."
Beside me, Edward was silent. I stepped forward and carefully opened the flaps of the box. For a moment, all I saw was red, and then my eyes focused on the shapes.
I spun, glaring. "You got me boxing gloves?"
His laugh boomed. "Next time you want to punch a werewolf, you won't have to break your hand."
