Yay update :) I need to start crocheting. My mom used to churn out the afghans like whoa and I want to do it.

It was pretty easy to pick up, actually. I bought a book, a size Q hook, and six skeins of sexy yarn and BAM! Afghan love.

Speaking of, I was telling my mom that the size Q hook looks similar to a super-sized suppository. See?

I figure it will be good for those evenings I can't concentrate enough to read. At least I can make an afghan while I'm zoning out in front of the telly.

Is crochet easy? I want to learn to crochet to add edging and other embellishments on my knitting.

I know this won't be too difficult to believe, but crocheting seems to be easier to pick up than knitting.
