How to make a Ph.D go "Wtf, mate?!"
So, finished editing my English thesis that is going to be sent to universities like Tokyo Imperial, Oxford, Cambridge for grading and evaluation.
My instructor asked for examples of connecting themes in the classics we'd read and I made a sarcastic comment... which was then quickly written down as my prescribed topic.

Just got the invite for the Annual Young Writers' Conference at CSUF in April.
Three poems and two prose pieces. I don't know what to submit.
If I win again this year, I'll be my third year in a row...
I've won the fiction and poetry prizes thus far.
Maybe this year I should try for non-fiction... Maybe.

For my IB Engilsh class, we had a "Secret Pal" assignment. Drew classmates' names out of a hat and then had to give them a homemade gift and note anonymously.

My family wanted to go see Avenue Q because it was coming to the city. I bought the tickets. Too much money. I need to stop spending.
If I was not an athiest, I would be praying so hard for the full-ride scholarship I applied to. I deserve it. I work my ass off, I know I deserve it.
