We don't want to make the same mistake we made with the beaver!

So I tripped over this photo the other day while searching for space uniform references (don't ask) and for a millisecond, I was all "Yay! Evil Sylar is awesome again!" and then I saw the blue shirt and the ears and I was very depressed. Seriously, I've never seen a show commit suicide before. I mean, even Lost at its worst was never as bad as the ( Read more... )

I meant to comment on this back when you first posted but got distracted and then forgot, until now, hehe.

Heroes - I have 3 weeks worth of episodes on tape that I have yet to watch because it's becoming painful to do so. It's as if they forgot what the show was about and it's drifting far, far away. That and the Suresh storyline is driving me mad. Not only is it ridiculous, it's been done before! (has no one who writes for the show seen The Fly with Jeff Goldblum?)

Ugh.

Also, I don't know how I feel about that Star Trek movie. I think they've cast it well but ... it's Star Trek! Some things are sacred and should not be 'tinkered' with.

See, I've never been a committed Star Trek fan, so I'm fairly neutral on the subject. I'll wait until I hear some reviews (from friends, mostly . . . professional movie reviewers kind of drive me crazy), and if it sounds decent, then I'll definitely give it a go. Like I said in a post looooong ago, seeing Shaun, Harold, Eomer and Sylar in a room together makes my head want to explode in a number of delightful ways ( ... )

Oh crap....I have about 8 episodes of Heroes still on the PVR and as I keep hearing this season sucks, they still sit there an take up precious space. I am in no mood to watch it now because it can't even keep my interest at this point and I am barely a third into the season. Of course I still have to watch it in case it somehow gets better next season.....this season is over right??? Sheesh I hope so, or else I will keep taping this (in HD of course so it takes up way too much room)with no desire to watch it.....Well, looks like priority tv watching time will go to Supernatural (as this season is rocking!) and Reaper (I ASSUME it will start up soon??!).

Speaking of crap . . . holy crap! More than two people read my journal! Awoo, as the gophers say.

Heroes: no, this season is not over, but they just ended a "chapter", so they're moving on to a different story line? I guess? I'm not really sure what the last storyline was, apart from "lets make all the characters I previously loved stupid, hateful, boring, or the opposite of awesome." If you want to save brain (or PVR) space, I'll go on watching the series (because I am an incurable -- if severely wounded -- optimist) and let you know if it does get better. My expectations are quite low at the moment.

I am so freaking excited for the start of Lost. I've read a couple of online articles by TV reviewers who have received advanced copies of the season premiere, and they all say it is teh awesome, especially the first five minutes or so. Eeeeeeeee! Excitement!

Reaper returns March 17th. I Googled that for you. You're welcome. ;p

yah, I've taken to listening to Heroes from the craft room while Stacy actually watches it downstairs. I think I am getting the gist, but even if I don't, I am not seeming to care. Happy to hear that Reaper starts soon, and even more excited to hear good reviews of LOST!
