Oooo! Well, now that I know you're interested, I may have to bring my two smaller molds with me just in case we're in need of a rainy day activity in the 'mous. And then maybe you can show me how to make those amaaaaaaaaazing cake pops that you could MOST DEFINITELY sell to people in, like, a cake pop store.

Those cookie molds are AMAZING! Kudos to your Aunt for parting with them. I miss my Aunt's cookies, cakes & breads (Hungarian yummies) but sadly, I have no idea what became of her recipies when she died. :( I have YET to find mini kifli (with walnut filling) that could live up to hers.

Also, not a big fan of cold soup but that looks so GOOD! I think you may have convinced me to try it. :)

I'm extremely lucky that both of my grandmothers are still around. In the past few years, I've been getting them to share their cooking/baking tips and best ever recipes with me. This is really important with my Ukrainian grandmother because she doesn't really have any recipes for her pierogies, cabbage rolls, buns, etc. She just cooks off the top of her head! I think passing recipes down from generation to generation is another great way to heirloom
