So I went to the local Ikea yesterday (and now that I moved it's actually local), but I have to admit, it's just not as fun going by yourself. Hmmm....your life in a box, well boxes. All this stuff came out of your postage stamp apartment??? I see your spot on the sofa...whaaa, a sofa! Enjoy! As for the bally sheets, I hate to be the bearer of bad news....even my big dryer wants to do that....I dry the bottom fitted sheet first, turning occasionally. And even if it is a bit damp I stretch it on the bed to finish drying, and dry the top sheet and pillow cases in the next load. They don't seem to ball up so much!

I think your new home looks awesome! Wishing you a comfy life and many happy memories here.......m

Yes, the sheets ball up. I just open the dryer every once in a while to un-ball them. Or, if I'm tired of doing that, I spread them across my clothes rack to dry for the day....meaning, you really shouldn't be doing your bed laundry late at night. It will reduce the stress.

Patience. I find it's best to unpack the priority rooms: Bedroom/bathroom is #1, followed by kitchen (#2 b/c you can always eat out). Living room, etc. is the last part you should unpack. DONE! I know it's not that easy. Just keep on truckin'....
