Booking tickets failure

At one point on our trip to the UK and Ireland starting tomorrow, we need to get from the UK to Ireland. We plan to take the ferry from Holyhead. The UK National Rail website will tell us the times of the trains we need to take, and the price of a ticket (just like for any train trip within the UK). Try www.saynoto0870.com

It give lots of alternative landline numbers for companies who have 0870, 0845 AND 0800 numbers.

Google for say no to 0870 - there are geogrsphic equivalents listed for many non-geograpic numbers. The national rail website sometimes gives innacurate info that you will only discover when yoju get to the station.

Alternatively the The Man at Seat 61", who tells you how to book tickets to go from Britain to just about anywhere, may have useful advice.
