And my taxes are done! My federal & state returns have been filed and accepted. Now I just have to wait a couple of weeks for that $422 to be deposited into my checking account. WOOHOO!

I love being so on top of things. I laugh at all you poor suckers who will wait until April to file and how you'll have to wait forever to get your money back.

how did you do them? just on your own or did you use some kind of software?

I used the turbotax online thing but I didn't send it in yet cause I wanted to make sure I did them right.

That's what I used. As long as you put in all the right numbers from your W-2s then you shouldn't have any errors, b/c Turbotax calculates everything for you.

yeah I know it calculates it correctly, I guess I was just slightly disappointed with the results...I'll do it again before I print the junk

it is definitely easy to use though, which is awesome...taxes can get VERY complicated

Yeah, I guess I just trust it b/c my taxes are so simple. I'm a dependent; I can't claim anything; I don't have any kind of mortgage or loan or child deductions. I love it.

I would just like to point out that I have not done my taxes, but only because that slackass restaurant I worked for at the beginning of last year hasn't sent my W-2

haha. Well they didn't legally have to mail them out until the 31st. I'm sure you'll get them soon and be totally on top of things :)
