How come SOME friends and family only want to know you when they have problems, but when you're alone in the darkness feeling low and alone, where are they

Having parents that are psychoanalysts and being a good listener makes all my friends think I'm their free shrink.. But at the end of the day, nobody really listens to me.

Thanks for that, it's good to hear that somebody else understands this situation. It's a blessing to be able to help people I suppose, but not many understand that it can be a curse too. I know we don't know each other well, but if you ever need an ear to talk to, I'm always on here at least once a day.
