"Julius?" her voice echoed around her as she made her way down a corridor of the Clock Tower she was currently residing in. When did she arrive here? Wasn't she in Discedo? Maybe the scientists finally decided to let her go. Though they could've transported her back to her home rather than this strange Dreamland.
Or perhaps she had dreamt up Discedo? Just as this place...this so called 'Wonderland' was just a dream. A dream within dream? Well, she's had one before. Why not? Though...why hadn't Nightmare showed up in her Discedo dream? And how could she have possible come up with all the people, to which she only talked to a handful of them.
She looked around the empty tower, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. Surely Julius would've told her if he were going out. Where was he?
She had finally made it to the door and pushed it open. Perhaps he was outside? Conversing with Ace. But as she opened the door she was suddenly in the woods. She looked around once more.
"How--?"
"Alice."
"Ace?" she turned to see the taller man walk towards her. She shivered. What...what was that look on his face? What was going on? It wasn't his normal cheerful disposition but rather the same look he had when he had slaughtered those people and took their clocks. She took a step back but he was there, in front of her, his cold eyes glaring at her.
She wanted to run, get the hell out of there. Ace was scaring her and she didn't know what she had done. Maybe she had left for Discedo and maybe her timeline hadn't stopped.
"I can kill you now."
"What!?"
The Knight of Hearts pointed to her chest, where her heart was. She shook her head, confused. He had once told her that he loved the sound of her heart beat for no one else had one in this dreadful place.
"It's gone. Can't you hear it?" Still confused, Alice tried to calm herself, her heart was still beating so quickly thou--no. No it wasn't. It was...
Ticking.
Suddenly frightened Alice clutched at where her heart had once been. She was always intrigued by the sound of the ticking of the residents of Wonderland. But she wasn't one. She had a heart! A heart beat! This couldn't--
"Goodbye Alice." and she screamed.
[The comm turned on after falling onto the girl's bed from the table next to it.. Alice's hard, uneven breaths can be heard and then movement, the rustling of her legs against her covers. Barely visible, the only light coming from the three moon's illumination into her room from her window. She's looks frightened, clutching at her chest.
Suddenly she moves again and starts clawing at her chest, where her heart is.]
Stop it. Stop it. Stop ticking. Stop it.
[Before long she's drawn blood, the red liquid staining her cream colored nightgown. Though she keeps at it, keeps clawing away at her chest.]
Give me back my heart! I'm not one of them! I'm not!
