Style manual comment: You don't use the full name "Black Lives Matter" anywhere. I assume you mean them and not the Bureau of Land Management ( ... )

Good point about the acronym, and yes, I did mean Black Lives Matter, rather than Bureau of Land Management ( ... )

Think of it like this, IF what they were saying were true, IF the police shot black people for kicks, IF blacks were systematically oppressed, etcetera, what THEN would be the appropriate response? How would they be advised to go about changing it? A fair question that admits of many answers. Much hinges on a correct reading of the facts and the big picture, and a clear idea of the goal ( ... )
