Bundy ranch vs standing rock.

Those that read this blog probably know that I was basically sympathetic to the bundy ranch protesters. For those, like myself, that don't have eidetic memories, here is the post ( Read more... )

True, all this. Funny how the pipeline protestors have sympathy from the left, whereas the Bundy protestors do not. There's a news story going around about a woman who had her arm blown off by a concussion grenade. Those types of grenades aren't supposed to hurt people. I looked into the stories. A lot of them said her arm was likely blown off by an exploding propane tank, which the protestors were using, not a concussion grenade. The titles are misleading.

Probably a misleading title from a libby who gets triggered by a pop-tart gun. XD

True, but the lady with the blown up arm was one of those sjw white feminist college student allies.

One of the other things I am having difficulty with on this issue is finding basically honest reporting. The MSM is carrying the pro protester angle to the point of repeating outright falsities. Even snopes is *deep* in the tank, "debunking" articles critical of the protesters because they "can't find original sources", when the original sources are matters of public record in the court decisions.

The *only* sources carrying factual information are the far right blogs, like bearingarms.com. It's downright Goebbellian.

"It's downright Goebbellian."

It's also Randian, a classic matchup between producers and moochers (probably cynically bankrolled by looters), the latter attempting to stymie the efforts of the former.

Yes. I have also heard but have not confirmed that the tribe but was willing to let the pipeline go through if the oil company paid them a large bribe. so yes exactly precisely a conflict between moochies and producers.

I am very disappointed in Snopes. I don't know anymore whether to trust them on non-political items.

The Saudis are funding the protesters. Oil producing countries are very afraid of the US becoming one again.

You should do a version of this for therightfangirl; I think you'd only have to change the first paragraph. :)
