On the Saturday, we had the UK / Europe Earlybird Expo for work, which went off without a hitch thanks to all the preparation we did for it.  It was a ‘good’ day - as good as a beautiful Saturday can be spent working.  We had a good turnout and seemingly good results so that’s great.

Sunday was the family day in Brisbane for my God-daughter’s 6th birthday.  It was actually a really sweet day and I had heaps of fun with everybody.  My little God-daughter has grown up so much!!  And so has my other cousin’s little daughter - last time I saw her she was hardly venturing away from her parents’ arms - these days she’s running away ( Read more... )

On Saturday, DemonDancer, Mr IT and I headed down for Turtle Girl’s wedding to … well … Mr Turtle LOL.  It started at 3PM in the duck ponds at Lake Alford, followed by a reception at the Apex Pavillion at the Exhibition Centre.  The service was a beautiful and simple civil ceremony with a small gathering of family and friends.  Turtle Girl looked ( Read more... )
