Housing

I'm going to Fordham (Rose Hill) in the Fall as a transfer... but there isn't anymore on-campus housing available! If I don't find anything before next month... I'm screwed. Please help me out... If I don't find a place... no Fordham for me :(

Why don't transfers ever look for off campus housing before the last second? Most schools have limited housing, and transfers are the last to get placed. Yet, transfers in this community always seem surprized that they are on a waiting list for housing or didn't get any. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE.

You may get lucky and get a place, but if not start looking off campus now. No housing is not a good reason to turn down a school you want to go to.

When you live all the way in Southeast Asia.. well, news does NOT travel fast. I, for example, got my admissions letter 2 weeks after it was sent.

the office of res life can put you on a list with other people who are looking for roommates/apartments, that way you can contact others on the list who are in a similar situation...you should call and ask about it. good luck!

Hi..have you had any luck finding housing? Another transfer and I met up at Rose Hill yesterday and found a couple of things. One was a great apartment in Little Italy that has 3 bedrooms. We are looking for a 3rd roommate and have been talking to 2 other girls who have not committed yet. We only have til tomorrow to come up with someone. The rent is 1600 but one of the bedrooms is a bit smaller than the other. We thought we could split the rent 560,560,480. Let me know how to reach you if your interested.
