Professor/Class

Has anyone had professor Barry-Figueroa's World Poverty class? I'm considering taking the class in the fall because the description sounded interesting to me, but the reviews I read on Rate My Professors were a little discouraging. Rate my professor is useless for knowing what a professor is really like. You can read the professor's actual evaluations, I think they have them at the library.

Yeah, I was told about the evaluations being in the library but I've asked the library staff before, on two separate occasions, and one told me they're online (somewhere on Fordham's Library page) and the other told me they're not in the library. At all.

Professor Barry is one of my favorite teachers ever! She's a little scatter brained and disorganized but shes compassionate and truly cares about her students. Plus shes very laid back on deadlines and what not and she knows her shit.

The World Poverty Class is brand new this year but it sounds great. She's also my advisor so we've talked in depth about the class. You'll love it!

Glad to see a positive review! She doesn't sound too bad, come to think of it. How's her teaching style? Is she easy to follow?

they're in walsh library in the reserve room. i know cuz i work there, and i've seen them.
