The Rain

It's been pouring rain for a few min. I had to go shut the windows in the van and came back in quite wet. To be honest if it weren't for the raised eyebrows I would get, I would have stayed out there and let it wash over me. It really stimulates feeling. During some of the darkest times in my life I used to do this just to feel. Feel the water

I remember that night, I stood out in the rain later in the night . . . I barely got damp, even with the deluge.

It's not raining where I am (Ottawa) right now, but apparently it will tomorrow and Tuesday morning . . . Looks like Tuesday night will be dry though.

And . . . Are you ok?

I'm really good actually. I think the desire to do so currently has less to do with feeling dark as in the past and more about the rain's ability to refresh and renew. A symbolic prelude to growth so to speak.

Also it lasted barely long enough to finish the post...

(I forgot to add that I do this when I'm feeling dark, it really does help. Even if its only for but a moment.)
