Ryan/Seth drabble.
Yeah, don't ask.
I disclaim
“You? Complete me.” Seth says stupid shit like that when he’s drunk. Ryan doesn’t really pay attention. He just wraps him up in blankets and makes sure he’s sleeping on his side so he won’t choke.
But Seth always finds a way to get untangled and worm his way over to Ryan. Ryan puts down his book as Seth crawls to him on the floor. “No, Ryan, I’m serious. We’re like a bagel, you know?”
“Uh, not exactly,” Ryan says, skeptically.
“No, I’m right. We’re like this perfect circle.”
“Uh-huh.”
“We’re this perfect circle that can’t be broken. It’s like we’ve always said: together we’re unstoppable, but apart--”
“People get shot. I know. Go to sleep.”
“Okay,” Seth says and as easy as that, Seth closes his eyes and falls asleep draped across Ryan.
Ryan pulls the blankets around them, making sure Seth’s covered. Sometimes Seth says stupid shit when he’s drunk…sometimes it makes sense.
