I finally get a call to substitute teach, and I have to go to the hospital to have a freakin ultrasound on my freakin thyroid.

yeah...it's just mono, but the doc wanted to be certain that it really is my lymph node that's swollen and not my thyroid because apparently a swollen thyroid doesn't go with mono.
