Kinda. I'm just a substitute teacher. It's a lot like my student teaching, only I get paid for it. And if I don't feel like working, I just say no when someone calls. And I pretty much get calls every Tuesday and Thursday, which are the only days I'm available, so whenever I want to work, I can. It's pretty cool.
Mostly just Adams Elementary. I subbed for a 2nd grade teacher there, and it was pure hell. Since then though I've been subbing for the P.E. teacher. Wes Garmon is her teacher's aide, so it's pretty easy. It was nice to see that the kids don't pay him any more respect than they do me. Plus, you don't have to worry about keeping them quiet b/c it's P.E. and you don't have to eat lunch in the lunchroom! Oh yeah, and you get to leave earlier! Haha, anyway, I've also subbed at the tech school. I taught auto mechanics. That is one sentence I never expected to say, although I have always wanted to learn about that stuff. It was just a math lesson that day, so it was pretty easy.
Are you still working or have you started grad school yet?
Oh yeah, when is your wedding? I forget. I think Mary's is in August, right? And when's Cathy's? I'm pretty sure I never heard when hers is.
