Already emailed you about this, but I figured I ought to speak up here too. The original info comes from here, I beleve (http://www.freewebs.com/lordsteinman/news.htm):

"Tanz Der Vampire: Das Musical" by Jim Steinman, Michael Kunze and Roman Polanski continues its dance across the globe in 2009. Forthcoming productions include an opening in Belgium and the Netherlands and revivals in Tokyo and Vienna ( ... )

I'm not doubting that the information is false, but a fan telling you to cease and desist sounds kind of forward and rather bold on their part...They really have no right to tell you to remove them, lol so I hope you don't!

Just ignore it. Rumors about that "new english Tanz" are around for some while. I would disregard it. There is no proof whatsoever of the truth of that happening and I honestly find it very unlikely to happen.
Besides if that version was to be though or even produced in 2009 VBW would have announced it along with the Broadway version of Rebecca. So until there, keep up your translations. Besides, if the guy copies them and you don't have them up, you won't be able to proof he stole them ;P

Jim Steinman has no rights to the show other than concerning the music, so contacting Steinman wouldn't help much. Kunze, Polanski and Steinman have the rights somehow together and they probably should ask VBW as well before letting anyone do the musical. There have always been rumours about a new English-language production and I don't think these mean anything more than the previous ones.

Besides, publishing fan translations is always illegal because Kunze has the rights to the text and publishing translations of them is violating copyright laws. Of course people do it and it's friendly for fans who don't speak other languages (unless there are a ton of mistakes), but it's still not legal.
