Hi and welcome from a fellow newbie! I don't know German but I really want to learn it. I am picking up a few words here and there from listening to the musicals even though I'm still pretty new to them. I really wish I had discovered them sooner but better late than never. :p

I've also been into musicals since I was little. My cousin got me into Phantom and Les Mis and my love of musicals just grew even more from there.

Thanks for the Welcome :-D I'm learning it by picking up from songs from like Elisabeth, Der Glockner and Mozart XD It's not so hard...so far XD Same here. I wanted to take German instead of French at my school but they hadn't offered German there, I found out, since like the 70s XD

Eh, some people don't like both german and french musicals. Which is sad.

It is sad. I tried to get my cousin, who LOVES Le Roi Soleil, into Elisabeth...it didn't work out well XD
