[So this new world is pretty interesting so far! There are some very nice nations whom she has met for the first time in recent interactions and some dear old friends whom she certainly has missed in her time away. So far things are good! Today is another one of those good days and Mother Egypt is currently touring throughout her home, enjoying ( Read more... )

[Egypt loves mint tea, this is a well known fact that transcends history as we know it today. Mint tea, it is full of deliciousness and every sip and a morning is just not suited without a cup. So while Egypt enjoys his breakfast of falafel, pita bread and humus, there is of course a cup of mint tea to go along with it.

If you give an Egyptian a tea cup, they'll want some mint tea to go with it. So midway through a sip he is enjoying the taste.]

[And then spitting it out all over the counter top and dropping the tea cup to the ground. It hits with a resounding shatter and the substance spills out over the floor.

Mother is screaming!? Mother is normally so calm but this, this is a different sort of scream that he can only remember in his more youthful days which were normally accompanied by a figure approaching him and scolding him endlessly.

So you’ll have to forgive him for not getting up immediately and rushing into the room]

[So sitting up slowly...Egypt edges to linger by the doorway silently, mentally cursing the mess he has made, but he needs to know first what is going on before making a move to clean it up.]

[Charging in! Because Roma would probably help any girl in distress but imagining what could make Aegyptus yell like that makes him run a little faster.]

Wh-what is... what?

[Watch as she throws herself upon you, sobbing (though whether or not tears are present is debatable. She'll be hopping back and forth between severe emotion atm) and gesturing in acute horror at this sign.]

They-they are using the dead like FREAK SHOWS! Who would allow something like this to happen?

[Well, he doesn't mind having his hands full here but... ohhh, right, now he remembers how you are about dead people. Have a comforting hand on one shoulder]

Beloved, they just... I mean kids now have done lots of tests and... they don't think anything bad will happen from moving things like this around, that's all.

I'm sure they don't mean any disrespect.

[Troubling situations call for overreactions!]

Did you know this was happening?! [Gesture, gesture, READ THIS SIGN! It's horrible!]

[Looks at the sign, sighs]

I suppose you would raise Hades over this. I don't particularly care for it either, but the nations involved take very good care of the items loaned to them, and they do understand the historical significance of our former possessions.

Of course, it would be nice if certain kids hand over the statues NOT loaned to them, but it's not worth fighting over.

I am not sure I care about history when the entire burial was far more concerned with making sure the dead made their way to an afterlife they well deserved.

I am fairly certain I was not thinking of the future ramifications, nor the macabre interest other nations would take in them.

[Sulk! And hey, what?]

...What do you mean the statues NOT loaned to them?

[ And guess who has heard the scream? He was just passing through with another proposal for Egypt to buy his grain, and wanted to see what was what. The scream draws him like a sailor to a siren, and he pokes his head around, looking for the source. ]

Oh, Egypt, da? You are being one who gave me idea to preserve dead boss!

[ He hesitates, then offers his hand to shake. Whether you take it is up to you, he won't be offended either way. ]

Is being nice to finally meet you.

[ Another short pause. ]

What is being matter?
