So apparantly my life got so busy that I no longer had time to share my thoughts and secrets with the interwebs. Or maybe my priorities changed. I'm not sure. But, mass of strangers I've never met, here is the update on my life ( Read more... )

Anthony Bordain is definitely a god. Playing with Asian flavors is a good thing, and I wish you luck with that.

How old is the Husky? I don't know if you realize, but Huskies are VERY energetic, and this could become a problem with a baby in the house. I don't want to worry you more, but it is important that you know this.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you, the house, and the child. I'm sorry about the house, happy for the child. I'm sure you'll be an awesome dad again.

I am curious, what does being a Gang Intel Detective entail? Why is it terrifying?

As for moving to France to attend culinary school? I say go for it, but I'm not a good person to listen to; I follow whims more often than most people change their pants.

The Husky is 6 months old. He's a ball of energy. But an hour or so at the Bark Park wears him out pretty well.

The new spot would be mainly a desk jockey position with a lot of intel and research based work. It terrifies me because it would be the first time that I'm not working in uniform, in my own car.

congrats on baby #2 on the way. We've got #2 on the way here too. Sorry about the house...we have been there too, we nearly lost ours last year, and it's been a very tight struggle trying to hold on. With hubby's Dept. cutting their budget left and right, and him taking a different position (Traffic) that left him w/out his off duty job, we've lost about $850 a month in income. Very scary times out there. Will keep you and the family in my thoughts and hope it all works out.

Is the Intel position an Undercover one? I hope that it works out well for you; it can be scary leaving patrol. Whole different way of thinking that's for sure. And personally, anymore I find the thought of taking off for something new and unknown extrememly tempting...maybe not France for me though.

Good to hear from you...hang in there!!
