What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done befor
Drove in the mountains while on vacation.
What was your favourite moment of the year?
Seeing a Dougie MacLean concert from the second row. Awesome ♥
What was your least favourite moment of the year?
Spending a week at home on pain medication. Thank goodness for my darling Frigate for being good company and taking such good care of me.
What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
A new septic system for my house.
What places did you visit?
We spent several days in western Maryland among the autumn leaves.
What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Election Day. My home state voted to legalise equal marriage.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finally having that surgery.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
In April, I had surgery to fix a pre-existing condition. I feel 1000% better.
What was the best thing someone bought you?
A "For Dummies" manual to my digital camera
Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My family all got along this year.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My co-workers made me sad when they poked fun at equal marriage.
It's no wonder so many of us are quiet about our private lives.
Where did most of your money go?
Food.
What did you get really excited about?
The Hobbit films.
What song will always remind you of 2012?
None I can think of...

About the same. Slightly skinnier, I think.

Cleaning and gardening.

Procrastination.

I'm reading a book about polyamory that's pretty good.

Rediscovering some classic rock.

I got to attend Kinuko Craft's panel at FaerieCon. I've loved her art for years.

To see Sooj play at FaerieCon...our time there was limited. :\

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
The ability to watch more films.

More of the same. But I gave away a lot of clothes.

Needlepoint projects.

Equal marriage rights.

Badger. At least I saw her a few days this year...

Spice cake muffins with currants, pecans, and cream cheese frosting.
The persimmon pudding at Yule was pretty awesome, too.
