We had two days in London, and a short list from the Patch of bits of the city she wanted H. to experience. We had already settled on no museums, although the V&A or the British were possibilities if the weather was lousy. I of course always like the Tower, but it's not what it was in my youth! or even the Patch's

The food halls at Harrods are really something and all the choices remind me of the cheese shop sketch!

H. took pictures of the food "For Mummy". Less fattening that the Galaxy bars!

The tile-work in the halls is really the big draw for me. I am not much of a foodie!

Yeah, I love the decor. she also took a lot of pictures of that, specially the lamps and chandeliers. But I like to look at all the regional cheeses and raised pies and berries from Holland that I've never heard of!

It is amazing how much can be crammed into a 2 day trip to London.

I'm with H. It's hard to pick just one favourite thing.
