A school lunch costs $2.  If you forget to send your child with money, you get a credit slip demanding you pay $2.  V does not eat school lunch, though.  So, when I first got the credit slip in her backpack, I thought it was odd.  V confirmed, she had not purchased a school lunch.  I just assume pay the $2 and go on with life, but that idea really

I don't much care for sex offenders but I think the fact that the level of punishment is growing more and more severe for lesser and lesser offenses and that same punishment goes on for years after the offender has served his sentence constitutes truly cruel punishment. Sadly not unusual though... Society has found a whipping boy and it/they/we are extracting pounds and pounds of flesh...
