I just got back from Dragon*Con a couple of days ago, and it was crazy awesome! Yes, I'm a convention co-founder and a con-runner and I've been to a fair few cons over the last 6-7 years in one capacity or another, but never one quite like this (since I haven't yet been able to make it to SDCC, which has some similarities). October 13 in NYC? As in, the Thursday before NYCC is open to the public (so I don't need to go there)? Excellent!

Yep! And I will be there, too! Whee! Remind me ahead of time that you're going so I remember to keep an eye out for you (I assume it will be crowded). :)

Also, I should be back for at least Sunday of NYCC, even though I'll be going back to DC between times for the DC Pratchett event. :)

Okay, so it looks like I won't have time to get to NYCC on Thursday due to Pratchett-y things. But if you go to the Pratchett thing I'll see you there, and if not, I'm in town Wednesday, and also Saturday night and Sunday... :)

Awww, that would have been fun! :) Yes, I just emailed Cully actually, and emailed Georges a little while ago - but fair warning, it might take some time to get the sketches - they always have a million commissions in the works. :)

Coincidentally, Terry's DC event is the weekend of Capclave, so I'll be there.

What are the proportions for scumble, or are you keeping those secret?

Oh, cool! Yes, I know it's the same weekend and was sad that the Terry event, Capclave, AND NYCC will all be that weekend because I can't do it all! Heh. But at least it will be a very exciting weekend!

Scumble proportions are still being worked out via making the drink more than once. :P

I think maybe a looong time ago - not recently when I knew I was actually going, though.

It was SO MUCH FUN. And I felt exactly the same about sleep!

Are you going to maybe go again some year?
