Seriously, these laws need to be fought with everything we have.

The NDAA was already passed. The line has to be drawn, though a lot earlier would have been much better.

Yes. I think part of the problem is that people are more inclined to react to something with an immediate negative impact, and by then a lot of opportunities to change or influence things have passed. But I'm encouraged by things like those trying to raise money for lobbyists, and hopefully this will also kickstart some reasonable alternative proposals...
