I just can't wait for this year to end.  This Year of the Rooster has really been kicking my ass.  Just five more months.  February.  Just hang on until Februrary.  Things will change.  They gotta change.

Despite some of the crap I've gone through this year, while driving home from work this morning, I realized that I felt strangely at peace.  I don't know if I should be worried or not.

I will be in court in four hours and I feel like I want to vomit.  I am so nervous about what is going to happen.  At least work tonight is not as bad as it was last night or the night before.  Gods, if I had to go to court after a bad night at work, I don't know what would've happened but it probably wouldn't be pretty.

In the last couple of days, I finished reading Jaqueline Carey's first two novels: Kushiel's Dart and Kushiel's Chosen.  In a word: wow!  Talk about some really good books for a first time author.  They are very very good.
